Q: How do I place an order?

Q: How far in advance do I have to order?

A:  People typically place orders about 2-4 weeks prior to the due date.   But I can work with less notice if I have availability.   So if you have a short notice order, just ask and I’ll squeeze you in if I can!  Cookies can be made on short notice (1-2 days).

You can hold a future spot at any time with a $50 deposit.

How does payment work?

A: A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot and will be deducted from your total.  I accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Apple Pay

Q:  Do you ship your cakes? 

A: I do not ship my decorated cakes.  However, cookies and some other menu items are available for shipping.  (please inquire by email.

Q: Is there a quantity minimum for dessert orders?

A: A minimum of 1 dozen (12) cookies and/or cupcakes are required for custom orders. If you are looking for fewer cookies than 12, customize a delicious cookie set! Cake pops and other dipped desserts require a a minimum of 2 dozen for custom orders.  Custom gift sets can be created for any occasion.  

Q: Are your baked goods allergen free?

A: Because all of my desserts are baked in a residential home kitchen, they may inadvertently contain allergens that are not included on the labels. While effort is made to avoid cross-contact via thorough cleaning and total separation of commercial baking ingredients, it may still be possible due to the dual use of the kitchen.

I intend to be as accurate as possible with ingredient labels. There may be slight alterations from batch to batch based on immediate ingredient availability. Any long term or significant adjustments will be reflected on this page. I am conscientious about food allergies and dietary preferences and work to maintain the integrity of my labels and be as clear as possible about what is in my desserts. Feel free to let me know of any allergies with your order. Individuals with a severe food allergy may want to consider a bakery that specializes in certified allergen free baking over a home bakery.  If you have an allergy concern that is not answered here, reach out to me!

Q: How many designs can I have for each dozen custom cookies and other dessert items?

A: There is a maximum of four (4) different cookie designs that can be done for each dozen decorated sugar cookies. More designs can be purchased for a small additional fee.  Simple "filler" cookies can be added on to any set for $30/12.

There is a maximum of two colors per dozen cupcakes. There is a maximum of three colors per 2 dozen dipped treats. 

Q: How long do the cookies last?

A: Because they are individually heat-sealed, your cookies will stay fresh for up to 10 days at room temperature.  We recommend storing them inside a resealable bag or container for best results. However, nobody is perfect so once in awhile the packaging fails so if you have just received a cookie that's too dry and crumbly, reach out so I can make it right. 

These cookies freeze really well, which makes them last months longer! If you buy or receive a big ole box of cookies but don't want to eat them all right away, place any cookies you want to freeze in a zip top bag or airtight container. When you're ready to eat them let them come to room for a couple of hours. To avoid condensation on the outside of the packaging, bring them to room temp in a bag or airtight container.  When it's time to eat them, toss them in a microwave for ten seconds first to take them to the next level!

*Caution: the color on decorated sugar cookies may fade in extreme temperature changes, i.e. freezing/thawing.  Do not microwave decorated sugar cookies!

Baked by Imani does not collect or record any credit card details provided when products are purchased from our store. All payments are processed securely through Intuit Payment Services in US dollars.

You can pick up in NW OKC  on a mutually agreed upon date and time.  I do offer delivery for an additional charge.

$10 Delivery fee 7-15 miles from 73120 (Note that shipping is the same rate and may arrive quicker than hand delivery depending on the bakery delivery schedule--send us a note to inquire)

Set up fees for your event begin at $125 depending on the complexity of your design.

**Public meet ups in a mutually convenient location can be arranged.

SHIPPING: (FOR COOKIES ONLY)

Shipping is $14 flat rate per box. For orders more than 2 dozen to one address, please reach out for additional options.  I can also provide a quote for a faster shipping rate. 

Shipping available to all U.S. states. Tracking is provided. I have successfully shipped cookie boxes to Minnesota, California, Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania!

USPS is the primary shipping carrier I use. They deliver Mon-Sat in most areas. 

Shipping may take 1-5 days depending on location. In hot weather, you may consider adding a "cold pack" to your box for an added level of freshness during shipping.  I try to ship Monday through Wednesday so that the boxes don't sit over the weekend on a truck or in a warehouse.  Oklahoma and many nearby states will often receive cookies the day after it ships. 

If you want to order ahead, let me know the day you want the cookies to arrive and I’ll time the delivery to arrive as close to the date as possible. 

Cookies are individually heat sealed to maintain freshness. Once a box is shipped, delays and damages are the responsibility of the shipping carrier, not the bakery. However,  I'll work with you if there is an issue. To discuss any shipping logistics or concerns, please contact USPS directly with the tracking information provided.
